Students have been placed in Homerooms based on academic need. Please see the schedule below, and what to expect moving forward:
Monday = Grade check, goal setting, and teacher conferences.
Tuesday - Thursday = Academic Focus (ELA or Math Activities)
Friday = Administrative announcements, Sustained Silent Reading
Teachers will continue to provide time during homeroom for reassessment opportunities. Homeroom is not intended for homework time, or for completing late assignments.
On Fridays beginning next week, all homeroom teachers will reach out to families of students who are earning an F in one or more classes. Please be on the lookout for emails and next steps if your child is failing a class. Our goal is to avoid Fs - please actively and frequently check PowerSchool.
