GENERAL INFORMATION
The Scholastic Virtual Book Fair is coming in November! Be prepared to receive some information in your parent(s) email soon about how to access the virtual fair and order books. Also, check my library google classroom for your grade level (see below, if you aren't already a part of it) for giveaways, activities, raffles and more during the fair!
The Library now has a Google Classroom for each grade level with fun book trailers and activities that you can do at home. Use the code below to join the class!
6th grade: qcphhre
7th grade: zgr5ykw
8th grade: loxrpj3
Follett is offering free use of their digital resources, including their AV2 and Lightbox interactive books for all grade levels. Many of these include lesson ideas and questions for students to answer. Below, find instructions on how to access these wonderful resources:
Junior Library Guild is also now allowing free access to all for their ebooks and audiobooks, as well as their library of podcasts, author chats, and a weekly short story read aloud for teens called Quaran-Teen, with an option to illustrate the story yourself! Check it out -- click the link below!!
You can also go to your grade level's Library Google Classroom to watch a video showing you how to use the site (see above for the code to join your class).

Computer Usage
All students must abide by District's Acceptable Use Policy when using any school computer, including Chromebooks.
Checking Out Materials
Students need their ID card or number to check out materials. Students may check out up to 3 items at a time. Books can be kept for two weeks. If items are not returned on time, there will be a 10 cent fine, per book, per day. Please do not be late!
If a student has a fine, he or she cannot check out books, but they can place items on hold at the circulation desk and check them out once the fine has been paid.
8TH GRADE TRIP
: I am the group leader for our 8th grade trip. This is not a school affiliated field trip, but rather an educational trip through an accredited travel company, EF Explore America where I take 8th graders from our district to explore areas they are learning about in their Social Studies classes during their 8th grade year. We travel during spring break each year. This year's 8th graders will be traveling to Washington DC and Boston for 6 days and 7 nights. To learn more about it, visit efexploreamerica.com and use the trip code: 2233378VB. Contact me if you have any questions.
Next year (2022), current 7th graders will go on their trip. Early signups are available NOW. For information, visit EFexploreamerica.com and enter trip code 2377193KA. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
