Due to current falling snow and expected icy conditions later today and through tomorrow, Rio Rancho Public Schools is placing ALL students on our fully remote online learning platforms for tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 27. This means there will be no in-person learning for pre-k, elementary school and students in small group special education classes tomorrow. In addition, the S.A.F.E. program WILL NOT operate for tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 27. School grab-n-go meals will also be unavailable tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 27 due to inclement weather. SAT make-up testing scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 27 at both Rio Rancho High School and Cleveland High School will be rescheduled. The schools will reach out to impacted students with the new make-up date information. While we understand that your neighborhood may not appear to have much snow or ice, Rio Rancho Public Schools’ boundaries are expansive and many areas may be unsafe for travel. Safety is always our top priority.
