You will now submit athletic physical packets when you register your students at school or prior to their sport played. The physician document, medical history form and proof of insurance will be turned in during registration or to the main office during the school year. You will also be required to read and sign the concussion form along with your student athlete. All forms will be provided by the school for your ease. Physicals for each school year shall be from April to March of each season. 

If a 8th grade student is going to play up at the high school level in any sport, you will need to go direct with that AD's secretary and load your documents into INFOSNAP. 

Athletes must have at least a 2.0 GPA with no F grades during their sporting season.

Per a recent vote of NMAA member schools, three changes have been made to scholastic eligibility guidelines for the 2018-2019 school year. These are as follows:

1). Use of Semester Grades Only – Scholastic Eligibility will be determined by semester grades (6/9 week marking period grades will no longer be used).

2). NO F’s – A student must have a 2.0 GPA and NO F’s in order to be eligible to participate in activities/athletics. This is a change from the past where a student was allowed one F.

3). Summer Courses – Beginning in the summer of 2018, students may make-up multiple courses to attempt to gain eligibility.Please remember that physicals for the 2017-2018 school year must be dated on or after April 1, 2017 and you MUST have a physical before you try out for any sport.

FOR EXAMPLE; If you are planning on trying out for the 2017-2018 Cheer or Dance team and tryouts take place in the Spring of 2017, you will need to have a physical dated on or after 04/01/2017 in order to try out in the spring.  This rule also applies to summer /pre-season workout
